You can self certify for illnesses of up to 7 days using a, 'self cert'.
Self Certs can be found by clicking on the blue Sick Line Title above.
If you need to be off sick for more than 7 days your employer will normally ask you to provide a medical certificate from your GP, to do this you will need to be seen by a GP. Please contact reception to book an appointment.
If you are an in-patient in hospital please request your sick line from the ward during your stay.
If your sick line runs out, but you are still sick, you will need to consult with the doctor again before you can get a further certificate.
Fit certificates can be back-dated so it is not necessary to make an emergency appointment to renew your certificate.
